Anti-bullying Week
18 November 2009As part of the national "Anti-bullying Week", Southbank Kensington invited the educational theatre group Bigfoot to visit to perform “The Bigger Picture”. The Bigger Picture programme is designed to stimulate students into becoming more aware of their own behaviour patterns through focusing on scenarios and situations relevant to young people in primary schools today. Students were encouraged to explore what bullying is; how it feels; why people bully; how we can prevent and respond to it; and how they can use their social, emotional and behavioural skills to tackle this fundamental problem as a whole community. In short, we all learnt about making our school a safe, happy and inclusive environment in which to learn.
