Garden Development
09 October 2009Developing a responsible attitude towards, and an appreciation of, the environment is an important part of our curriculum and we are working towards becoming a more sustainable school. Southbank's Kensington campus is leading the way and this week all the students were involved in a garden development project, rebuilding the border in the centre of our courtyard. Nearly all of the children in the school had some input in its construction and Grade 1 also spent time investigating the different colours and scents of the different plants in the garden. The students began to appreciate the diversity of the plants in our environment.
