Investigate Centre

Southbank Hampstead Grade 2 students have visited the Investigate Centre at the Natural History Museum. The hands-on experience enabled the students to explore a range of artefacts from the natural world. They looked at specimens under microscopes, measured and weighed them and found out extra information by working on computers.

The activities generated a great deal of discussion and questions both at the museum and back at school.

The trip was arranged to complement the Grade 2 Unit of Inquiry Where We Are In Place And Time.
