London Aquarium Trip

11 June 2009

Did you know that starfish have eyes at the end of each of their arms? Did you know that they could have up to 15 arms? Did you know that lobsters can be blue? Did you know that sharks never run out of teeth?

These are some of the many things Grade 1 Hampstead students learnt on a trip to the London Aquarium last week. Teacher Erika Dingli said: "We saw many different sea creatures, from jelly fish to sharks, from tiny clown fish to huge catfish. Some of us also got to touch the starfish. We had great fun on our trip and came back to school with lots of new knowledge about the sea creatures we are researching in class."
