People on the Move
22 April 2009Grade 4 have been learning about "People on the Move".
The central idea of this Unit of Inquiry is "Humans migrate for varying reasons affecting people and places". The students inquired into the reasons why people migrate and move and how movement changes people and places.
As part of their investigation into the way that London has changed as a result of migration, the students went on guided walks in Chinatown and the Brick Lane/Spitalfields area of London.
The class also investigated the history of migration within their own families.
