Spanish Fairytales
07 December 2009Last week, Southbank Kensington's Grades 2-5 participated in a special event during Town Meeting (assembly).
The Freshwater Theatre Company presented two interactive fairytales wholly in Spanish: The Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks.
Everyone was thoroughly engaged, with students playing different characters and the audience repeating the words in Spanish. It was wonderful to listen to how confident and happy the students were speaking Spanish.
The feedback that we received from the students was brilliant. They said they enjoyed it so much "because everyone was able to say something".
