Student Council Gets Logo
31 March 2009Grade 3 students were tasked with designing a logo for the Southbank Hampstead Student Council.
The challenge fitted well with their Unit of Inquiry, Visual Arts, where the central idea was "People use visual images to convey ideas and information".
After taking part in a workshop with a branding expert, and after considering other logos, the students worked in design teams and used each others strengths to create an image that represented the new Student Council. The results were professional, dynamic and diverse.
The whole school voted for the logo they liked the best. The winning design is pictured here and has now been made into a badge for the student council members to wear with pride!
