09 December 2009Last week Grade 3 Hampstead students travelled to the London Symphony Orchestra buildings of St.Luke's to take part in a Gamalan workshop.
The students learnt how to play the Gamalan (an instrument that comes from Bali in Indonesia. Each individual was responsible for one part of the Gamalan orchestra and the whole class had to demonstrate teamwork, co-operation and very good listening skills as the Gamalan has to be played as a team.
