Wallace Collection
27 May 2009Hampstead Grade 1 visited the Wallace Collection to learn about the lives of children and families in the past.
The students were amazed by the beautiful building and the fantastic collection. They examined three paintings and were invited to uncover clues about the lives of the people in these portraits. The students were given the opportunity to sketch their own interpretations of the artworks.
Finally, they were taken through the armoury where they looked at old helmets, swords and chain mail vests.
