About Southbank
We are an international school with a diverse student population (700+ students, over 60 nationalities).
We teach almost 20 languages (most as both mother-tongue and foreign language) and follow an international curriculum, the International Baccalaureate:
Primary Years Programme (ages 3-11)
(Hampstead and Kensington)
Middle Years Programme (ages 11-16)
(Westminster)
Diploma Programme (ages 16-18/19)
(Westminster).
The School invests in a programme of staff development that includes participation in international conferences as well as in-service days.
Southbank is a member school of the IB which regularly evaluates it. It is also a member of the UK Independent Schools Association and is regularly accredited by the Independent Schools Council. Southbank is a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), the Council of International Schools (CIS), a founder member of the London International Schools Association (LISA) and a member of the International Baccalaureate Schools and Colleges Association of the UK and Ireland (IBSCA).
