Southbank International School was the first school in the UK to be authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.

Our international curriculum, is made up of:

Primary Years Programme (ages 3-11) at our Hampstead and Kensington campuses

Middle Years Programme (ages 11-16) at our Westminster campus

Diploma Programme (ages 16-18/19) at our WestminsterFitzrovia campuses.

Southbank's classes are organised slightly differently from some other school systems. Click here to see our class organisation compared to other systems.

The IB is a non-profit educational foundation, focused on the student. Its three programmes develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills required to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalising world. The IB serves the needs of internationally-mobile families. It is a well-established and respected curriculum, now in its 40th year. For more information about the IB, click here.
