IB Diploma Programme Scholarship

A two year scholarship for an IB Diploma student joining Southbank International School Westminster is on offer.

This is an opportunity for a talented and deserving student, who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend Southbank International School, to study for the International Baccalaureate at the School’s Westminster campus. The scholarship is awarded annually by the Milton Toubkin Scholarship Trust and covers the two years of study leading to the IB Diploma.

The scholarship will be awarded on a ‘needs blind’ basis (in other words the selection committee will make its decision without knowing the financial position of the candidates). The actual value of the scholarship, once the winning candidate has been selected, will vary from 25% to 100% of Southbank’s tuition fees and will depend on the student’s financial circumstances.

In selecting the candidate the Trust will be looking for a student who possesses some of the following qualities:

• Outstanding academic ability, potential and achievement
• Creativity, enterprise and motivation
• Leadership and commitment to the welfare of others
• An international outlook

Students are admitted to Southbank if they have the potential to pass the IB Diploma, a goal that is achievable by a wide range of abilities.
