Southbank International School aspires to be the finest school in London.

Southbank provides education for children aged three to eighteen living in the London area. The school offers a broad and enriching curriculum, and through the International Baccalaureate it strives to achieve the highest educational standards in a happy, caring and supportive environment, with due emphasis given to the individual needs of every pupil. Welcoming children from every country, Southbank seeks to understand the cultures of all its students and to create a harmonious community based on fairness, decency and respect for others who may hold different opinions. It aims to forge close links with the local community and to take full advantage of London's cultural riches. Southbank aims to produce students who are enthusiastic about life and learning, who are independent thinkers and open to new ideas, who are responsible and self-confident, and who are imbued with a sense of service to others.

IB Mission Statement

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organisation works with schools, governments and international organisations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
