Careers Day

Southbank Westminster students recently spent time contemplating their future careers.

Grade 9 students were split into two groups and spent a day participating in an interactive workshop which involved negotiation skills, time management, decision making, working as a team, delegation and leadership.

Careers Day for Grades 10 and 11 comprised a series of workshops on various careers. Each workshop explored for each career, what skills and exams are needed; the most suitable character types; day-to-day practicalities; and job expectations. The students took part in interactive sessions to enhance their interview success.
