Dragons' Den
09 January 2008Students have been bravely entering the Dragons' Den at Southbank Hampstead.
As part of the Grade 5 unit of inquiry into Trading, students have been pitching their business ideas to a panel of parents and staff.
"Southbank students are known to be confident in presenting their thinking to an audience so they have approached this task with much maturity," explained Grade 5 teacher Alexandra Gordon.
The presentations were followed by a series of challenging questions and proposals for the students to consider and respond to.
"I was pleased with the students' use of percents and ratios in their bargaining for financial backing," added Alexandra.
