Grade 2 Feel the Force!
28 November 2008Grade 2 Kensington students have enjoyed being scientists, exploring how forces can be used and overcome in everyday tasks and activities.
The students can now identify many forces, such as gravity, friction, air resistance and upthrust, and explain how these forces can be used and applied to perform tasks more efficiently.
The group visited the Science Museum launch pad (a hands-on, brains-on gallery) and used various pieces of equipment to develop their understanding of forces.
