Graduate Destinations
25 November 2009You may have read how well over 45,000 students this year ended up without a place at university. I am glad to be able to report that there were no Southbank students amongst that number. All students who received the full diploma and had applied to universities in the UK, are now hard at work, having overcome the exhaustion of fresher's week and are, I hope settled and enjoying themselves. Students who come back to see us, often remark on how well the IB prepares them for the first year of university and I am hoping that this year's students are feeling the same.
A vast majority of the 2009 graduates were able to accept offers at their first choice of university which include, King's College London, University College London, Imperial College, Oxford University, Manchester University, Royal Holloway, City University, Goldsmiths University of London, Queen Mary's London, Southampton University, Lancaster University, Westminster University and SOAS, London.
