Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations

18 May 2008

A Southbank alum has been invited to attend this year's Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Business Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kim Emily Fechner was accepted from a highly selective pool of international applicants and will be one of just 400 delegates - top university students and rising young, working professionals.

The conference brings the world's top managers, researchers, and experts together with the best of tomorrow's leaders in order to explore the future of business and innovation in Asia.

Over the years, the Business Conference and its sister conference, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Academic Conference, have emerged as the largest annual Harvard University events in Asia, and the largest annual student conferences in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting a wide variety of distinguished speakers and future leaders.

Kim also participated in the Cambridge China Research Workshop earlier this year - a workshop for up and coming scholars of China, aiming at fostering international scholarly links and addressing some of the newly emerging issues in Chinese studies.
