Several Southbank teachers were amongst the 640 delegates who attended the International Baccalaureate Africa, Europe and Middle East Regional Conference in Marrakech, Morocco.

The conference, which was an occasion to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the IB, brought together school leaders, teachers, administrators and researchers with a programme of events designed to "challenge the mind and inspire the soul".

All of our delegates testified to the tremendous success of the conference, bringing back useful information and news of forthcoming developments in the IB world.

The conference also provided networking opportunities, strengthened links between our campuses and provided opportunities for delegates to explore the fascinating culture of the host country.
