Kensington Students Walk To School
05 November 2009WOW is the word at Southbank Kensington this term as students are taking part in a Walk Once a Week initiative.
As part of our school Travel Plan to promote sustainable methods of travel and to encourage our children to be active, each child is trying to walk, ride or use a scooter instead of traveling by car at least once a week. This may be to and from school or, if more convenient, it may be in the evenings or at the weekend. They record this on charts displayed in school and any student who has one tick every week will receive a badge at the end of the month.
