Record-breaking IB Results
14 July 2008Southbank's class of 2008 have produced the best set of IB Diploma Programme results in the history of Southbank.
41 students passed and an incredible seven of them scored 40 points or higher (two students achieved 43 points). 13 students were awarded Bi-lingual Diplomas. Our average score was 35.0 and our cumulative average of 32.1 is higher than the world average of 31.5.
Our 95% pass rate is well above the world average pass rate of approximately 78.3%.
Southbank Westminster Principal, Terry Hedger, said: "We are extremely proud of our pass record. There is no written entrance exam for admission to Southbank, yet our IB scores challenge those of the UK's top independent/selective schools."
