Past Pupil's Musical Success

14 May 2008

We are very proud of the fact that former Southbank student Kai Fish is now carving out a very successful music career.

Kai was a student at Kensington and Westminster, graduating in 2004, and is now the bass player and singer/songwriter of the acclaimed indie band Mystery Jets.

Head of Music Stephen Rudall said: "Groups of today need support not just from their fans but the people that raised them, taught them and encouraged them to be so brave and take the risky musical journey of going for broke. Here is a past student who has toured and played at Festivals in the UK, in Europe, Japan and the States, has been on the television and radio in these afore mentioned countries, has been involved in the writing and the recording of two albums. He is a credit to us all and to himself."

The band's second album Twenty One is out now. Visit mysteryjets.com for further news.
