Recipes from Around the World
16 March 2009The Southbank Kensington community is soon to be tickling its tastebuds with a gorgeous variety of international cuisine thanks to a new cookbook.
The PTA have been working hard to produce a school cookbook featuring (and entitled) Recipes From Around The World. Everything from Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Puffs) to Bulgogi (Korean sesame beef) to Icelandic Pancakes!
The collection of dishes celebrates our international community and is a wonderful adjunct to Southbank's International Night - an annual event where families share their favourite dishes and explore new cultures.
Grade 4 students designed the cover of the book, with the guidance of their art teacher. Complete with conversion charts and a list of shops that carry unique ingredients, this cookbook is sure to be a hit with parents and staff alike.
