Southbank Qualifies for National Tournament
04 February 2009Southbank Kensington footballers travelled to Friern Barnet last week for the ISA London North Football Tournament
Two teams (under 10s and under 11s) played a total of 16 matches.
The under-11 Southbank side was one of four teams that qualified for the National ISA Tournament, taking place later in the year.
Southbank is equally proud of the under-10 side which played with skill and courage against older opposition. The team gained valuable experience and all the players had a very fun, memorable day.
"All the players are to be congratulated for the outstanding effort and commitment to the school's football programme," said PE teacher Randall Haime.
