Supporting Cricklewood Homeless Project

19 December 2008

Southbank Hampstead families have donated dozens of items of food, clothing and toiletries for the Cricklewood Homeless Project.

The Cricklewood Homeless Project is one of Southbank Hampstead's designated charities and focuses on welfare services for homeless men in the North London area.

Hampstead Principal, Helen O'Donoghue said: "The collection of goods and the spirit around this project is true testament of the action taken by our community to making a real and visible difference in the lives of others not as fortunate as our own. I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity in supporting this charity."

Some of the students visited Cricklewood Homeless Concern HQ to deliver the donated items. They were given a tour of the newly built premises and were able to ask questions of the people who manage the facility. It was impressed upon the students how reliant the charity is for donations such as this and it is hoped that Southbank continue to support them throughout the year.
