18 May 2008Southbank alum Benji Rogers, aka Marwood, is touring throughout the UK and in North America this spring and summer. Marwood has performed such esteemed NYC rooms as The Bowery Ballroom, The Mercury Lounge and The Knitting Factory as well as London's distinguished Broadway Market Gallery, the Bedford and Glasgow's Oran Mor.
Marwood albums have been played on hundreds of radio stations in the US and Europe, and charted in the top 30 US Roots Rock Americana Chart. Jeff Collins from the BBC says: "With Benji Rogers' stirring and soulful voice and driving guitar hooks, which the Black Crowes would be proud of, Marwood draws you into a world of lush harmonies and compelling rhythms. I defy you not to be singing along at the top of your voice by the second hearing!"
