Transition
14 October 2008Moving from primary school to secondary school is a big step for any young person.
To support our students with this transition, we plan an annual series of events between our two primary campuses in Hampstead and Kensington. These include information sessions for parents, a tour of Westminster campus, activities for Hampstead and Kensington Grade 5 students to become acquainted, opportunities to hear from Westminster students and parents and finally, in the last term an opportunity to be a 6th grader for a morning.
We introduced this extensive transition programme last year, and it proved to be very successful with the students, parents and staff involved.
