World Maths Day
04 March 2009Who says Maths is boring? It's not at Southbank! At the beginning of March the Portland Place campus went maths crazy.
There was a pie sale ("because pi is good"), daily maths puzzles with exciting prizes as well as an online World Maths Day Challenge.
The highlight though, was the maths-themed dress up day where students and staff came to school dressed as their favourite shape. Some wore geometric prints, while others wore chequered shirts and hoop earrings!
