The Suzuki Programme
All Suzuki students attend a weekly small group lesson where they receive instruction from their violin or cello teacher. This lesson is held during the school day. The groups usually contain three or four students who are all working on similar level pieces. As well as receiving individual tuition at this time, an important part of the Suzuki method is the way students learn through listening to their teacher and other students play, and through watching as their friends are taught. Students also have the opportunity to play in large groups.
