How will I know how my child is doing?
The purpose of assessment in the Diploma Programme is to provide students, parents and teachers with the information they need to help identify
student strengths and weaknesses and so to plan the next steps in learning. This information is provided for Grade 11 through:
• interim grades (These are an indication of the progress made in the course up to this point but are not officially recorded on School transcripts)
• conferences between parents, teachers and students
• semester reports
• occasional incidental reports about progress, achievements or particular concerns (any time).
Grade 12 receive a full report in December, mock exam results in early February and a final grade and advisory report in June.
