Kensington
The Kensington campus serves the age range 3 to 11. Students take the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and transfer to the Westminster campus at age 11 (the PYP age groups are equivalent to kindergarten, elementary school / preparatory school / junior school / or pre-school in other education systems). For further information about the programme, visit the IB Primary Years Programme page.
Southbank uses London as a classroom - taking full advantage of the cultural riches of the city. The Kensington campus has students representing 32 nationalities, and the school is noted for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
Southbank Kensington is housed in a large Victorian villa in Notting Hill with a library, an IT centre, art and music rooms, a multi-purpose hall, and a playground. The door-to-door bus service covers a wide area of central and north London.
English is the language of instruction, but English as an Additional Language (EAL) is also offered throughout the school. Southbank attracts well-qualified and internationally experienced teachers.
Admission is based on previous school records and satisfactory references, as well as suitability of the candidate for the curriculum offered.
