Southbank International School has a very active parent body which recognises the global nature of today's world, and readily supports the transition of new families to the school. Southbank is a warm and welcoming community grounded in the core belief that a child's development benefits immensely from parents and school working together.

Each campus has its own Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
which exists to support families, the school and its staff. All parents of enrolled students are automatically members of the PTA. PTA meetings, social events, charity drives and numerous other activities are all opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building a rapport that enables each parent to feel at home in the school and support its community. Parents are also encouraged to participate by joining one of the many PTA committees.

Taking part in the Southbank PTA is also a great way to befriend other parents, and share ideas, experiences, information and concerns. The PTA supports workshops and speakers that offer practical tools in working effectively with the often time-challenging demands of parenthood.
