On Thursday 1 May Grade 3 student Ozair held a very successful samosa and puff sale at Southbank’s Hampsted Campus.
With the help of the volunteering club Ozair and his mother set up a stall in the student lobby selling their tasty, homemade products. Pre-orders had been taken and these were delivered to each classroom while hungry customers lined the halls to buy their spicy treats. Each delicious samosa was individually packaged and came with a free sachet of tomato ketchup.
Ozair spearheaded the initiative himself and raised an incredible £700 for the London-based Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children with a little help from his friends and family which is a fantastic result.
Well done Ozair and everyone who helped out or supported on the day!
