During the first term students in Grade 8 English studied Mark Haddon’s novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Luckily for teachers and students the novel has been adapted into a play and was being shown as London’s very own Gielgud Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue. The students travelled there on Thursday, January 28th for the matinee performance – which turned out to be a huge hit among the audience. The characters, setting and plot were brought to life as the stage sparkled with lights, letters, tube stations and mathematical equations. It was an amazing performance and one that students and teachers alike are not likely to forget!
