Group 1 Studies in Language and Literature
- Language A: Literature Higher and Standard Level
- Language A: Language & Literature Higher and Standard Level
Group 2 Language Acquisition
- Language ab initio Standard Level – a beginner course
- Language B for students with intermediate proficiency
- French and Spanish are offered within the school fees.
- Many other Group 2 languages are offered at an additional cost
Group 3 Individuals and Societies
- Business & Management (Higher Level only)
- Economics
- Geography
- History
Group 4 Experimental Sciences
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Environmental Systems and Societies
- Physics
Group 5 Mathematics
- Mathematics Higher Level
- Mathematics Standard Level
- Mathematical Studies Standard Level
- Further Mathematics Higher Level (only as an additional subject)
Group 6 The Arts
- Film Studies
- Music
- Theatre Arts
- Visual Arts
Instead of choosing a Group 6 subject a student may select two subjects from another group.
