Grades 7 and 8 students attend a regional Team Maths Challenge
On Wednesday 11th March, four students, two each from Grades 7 and 8, were invited to represent Southbank International School at a regional heat of the Team Maths Challenge. 27 other schools joined them in the hall of Pimlico Academy for a day of activities including a mathematical relay, a cross-number and the (infamous) shuttle. After many hours of preparation and with a plastic dolphin with sharp teeth and gills drawn on it to make it look like a shark in tow, our students enjoyed the day greatly, as did the accompanying teachers Mr Arnold and Ms Warren, and we look forward to Southbank participating again in 2016.
