Language and Literature
Students are encouraged to realise their full potential and follow courses which acknowledge their diversity of experience, culture and interests with literary texts from around the world.
English is not seen as an isolated subject, but as one closely related to all forms of creativity and communication. All the expressive arts and the media, therefore, play important parts in the teaching of English throughout the School.
Courses are designed to encourage creative, analytical and intellectual growth and ultimately to give students the necessary skills to prepare them for the internal and external examinations of the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11 and 12.
This is a challenging academic course of study with a holistic emphasis on knowledge acquisition.
