There is a PTA Executive Board and parents also serve as parent representatives by liaising between the parents of individual classes and the PTA. The PTA President meets with the Principal regularly.
The parent representatives attend the PTA meetings, held approximately once a month and could become involved in many different ways. These could include attending classroom activities, social events, hospitality, being part of the Welcome Committee, organising International Evening and staff appreciation events, volunteering in the library, and helping new families transition. Volunteers who are regular visitors to the school will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check to safeguard our students’ welfare.
The PTA is an important source of goodwill and parent support, and you are encouraged to become involved with this group. Our PTA also initiate action to help others, by assisting in the community, setting up charity fund raising events and so on.
