Southbank does not currently sponsor international students on Child Student visas.
Students must have the right to study in the UK and be able to prove this in order to enrol at Southbank International School. If a student’s stay in the UK is dependent on one of their parent’s immigration status, we will also need to see copies of the parent’s passport and immigration documents. Students cannot be enrolled at Southbank if they are in the UK on a tourist or visitor visa.
Please use the UK government’s website to check your visa requirements, and if required, seek professional legal advice.
EEA and Swiss citizens
EEA & Swiss citizens who were resident in the UK before 31st December 2020 do not require a visa, provided they have EU Settled Status. Eligible students and their families must have applied to the EU Settlement Scheme by 30th June 2021.
From 1st January 2021, EEA and Swiss citizens will be able to enter the UK as a visitor for up to 6 months without a visa. EEA & Swiss students who intend to study in the UK for longer than 6 months will need to prove they have the right to study by presenting copies of their passport and immigration documents at the point of application.
