Choosing the right International School for your child is naturally a tough choice. Not only is it sometimes difficult to know which school will be the best fit for your child, but the stress of relocating can also feel overwhelming. At Southbank, we are aware that families are often informed of their move with very little notice, and relocation may not perfectly align with the beginning of a new academic year. To help our global families manage this we adopt a rolling admissions process, which means we accept applications all year round.
Our application process is designed to give our Admissions Committee a deeper understanding of your child as an individual. The IB Programme is not a standardised curriculum, and this is consequently mirrored with our application. We do not have standardised entrance examinations or tests. Our application pack instead encourages families to give us a better indication of their child not just as a student, but as a whole individual.
While it is important for us to understand your family better, it is equally important for you to understand our family better. We offer Information Mornings at each of our campuses, at various times throughout the year. These are a great opportunity to learn more about the IB Programme, hear from key members of staff, and discuss your applications with our Admissions Team in person. For those who are unable to attend on the dates these are organised, we offer Private Tours of the school, and are more than happy to show your family around at a time better suited to you.
Our Admissions Team are always happy to help answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
