WELCOME TO SOUTHBANK INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
We are London’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) School, offering a different approach to academic excellence for children aged 2*-18. At our Central London campuses in Hampstead, Kensington and Westminster, we nurture talent, celebrate individuality and develop curious, inquisitive and constantly challenging minds. Our students consistently achieve outstanding results and first-choice university offers.
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE AT SOUTHBANK
The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is enjoyed by both international learners and those who have not previously studied the IB, including children moving over from private primary or secondary schools. The IB aims to do more than other curricula. It builds students critical thinking skills, nurtures their curiosity and their ability to solve complex problems.
IB DIPLOMA RESULTS
We are proud to share the exceptional results of our graduating Class of 2025 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This year, 75 students completed the full Diploma. Their results reflect the hard work, intellectual ambition, and commitment that characterise a Southbank education.
WHY SOUTHBANK?
Through a commitment to academic excellence and a uniquely liberal ethos, the IB also develops students with an inner belief in themselves. Southbank students have an openness to the outside world and a desire to give back to communities on a local, national and global level.

"The ISSA tournament is a sports tournament involving schools from all over Europe. For this year’s Basketball tournament, we competed in International School of Aberdeen in Scotland. Led by our seniors, we achieved fifth place out of the 12 schools attending. While this was not what we were hoping for, this trip will stay in our memories for the rest of our lives. We had a phenomenal time on the court, but it was the moments off the court which we will remember the most. The ISSA tournament has been a highlight in our time at Southbank International School. It was an honour to represent this badge."

We were incredibly proud of our students during their volunteering trip to Nakuru, Kenya. They showed leadership, resilience and compassion while working with our partner schools, supporting children in the classroom, helping with practical tasks and fully embracing the experience. A truly inspiring journey and a wonderful example of students making a positive impact.

Grade 5 from our Hampstead Campus visited the historic Houses of Parliament as part of their How We Organise Ourselves unit, exploring how government systems work 🇬🇧
Students learned about the history of Parliament before touring the iconic building, including the House of Lords, where they saw Lords at work and the many bill papers they review and consider.
They also met a member of their local MP’s team, asking thoughtful questions and learning more about how representatives support their communities.
The visit helped bring their learning to life, deepening their understanding of the form, function, and responsibility of government while developing their social and research skills through respectful engagement✨
