INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE AT SOUTHBANK
The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is enjoyed by both international learners and those who have not previously studied the IB, including children moving over from private primary or secondary schools. The IB aims to do more than other curricula. It builds students critical thinking skills, nurtures their curiosity and their ability to solve complex problems.
IB DIPLOMA RESULTS
We are proud to share the exceptional results of our graduating Class of 2025 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This year, 75 students completed the full Diploma. Their results reflect the hard work, intellectual ambition, and commitment that characterise a Southbank education.

Grade 10 Personal Project Spotlight 👖♻
Hear from one of our Grade 10 students about her Personal Project:
“I decided to dedicate my personal project to the promotion of upcycling and reducing overconsumption in the fashion industry by giving unwanted textiles, in particular denim, a second life. As my passion for fashion has grown, I`ve felt increasingly motivated to take action on the subject, from choosing second-hand garments over fast-fashion retailers, to learning to sew so that I can extend the life of my wardrobe.
To express my interest to a wider audience, I upcycled two pairs of jeans from entirely reclaimed materials, adapting them to my own style, and presented them in a photoshoot to challenge negative perceptions surrounding second-hand clothing.
I loved the process of searching for textiles in charity shops, designing and sketching my ideas, and bringing a one-of-a-kind garment to life. Despite the hard work, it felt incredibly rewarding to wear a garment with almost no environmental footprint while still reflecting my personal style. It made me realise the possibilities for a more sustainable future in the fashion industry and how individuals can play a powerful role in creating that change.”

Our Kensington Campus Winter Concert was truly a beautiful celebration of music and talent.
Our students performed amazingly, presenting a rich and varied programme that brought together performances from private one-to-one lessons, extra-curricular activities, and our curriculum music courses. It was inspiring to see such confidence, creativity, and passion on stage.
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Madonna Chidwick and all of our dedicated music teachers for their hard work in bringing this wonderful concert together, and to our students for sharing their talent with our community. We are so proud of you all.
