WELCOME TO SOUTHBANK INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
We are London’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) School, offering a different approach to academic excellence for children aged 2*-18. At our Central London campuses in Hampstead, Kensington and Westminster, we nurture talent, celebrate individuality and develop curious, inquisitive and constantly challenging minds. Our students consistently achieve outstanding results and first-choice university offers.
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE AT SOUTHBANK
The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is enjoyed by both international learners and those who have not previously studied the IB, including children moving over from private primary or secondary schools. The IB aims to do more than other curricula. It builds students critical thinking skills, nurtures their curiosity and their ability to solve complex problems.
IB DIPLOMA RESULTS
We are proud to share the exceptional results of our graduating Class of 2026 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This year, 95 students completed the full Diploma. Their results reflect the hard work, intellectual ambition, and commitment that characterise a Southbank education.
WHY SOUTHBANK?
Through a commitment to academic excellence and a uniquely liberal ethos, the IB also develops students with an inner belief in themselves. Southbank students have an openness to the outside world and a desire to give back to communities on a local, national and global level.

Our Grade 11 students recently visited London Zoo as part of their Collaborative Sciences Project, exploring the role of modern zoos in animal conservation. 🦁🌿
Marking the Zoo’s 200th anniversary, students investigated how one of the world’s oldest zoological institutions has evolved into a centre for conservation, research and education.
Working in small groups, students gathered evidence, carried out research and interviews, and created documentary-style videos exploring conservation initiatives, breeding programmes and public education, while considering the ethical and environmental challenges facing modern zoos.
An inspiring opportunity for students to apply their scientific knowledge in an authentic setting while developing their research, communication, collaboration and critical-thinking skills. 🎥🔬🌍
GCSE Results Day is just one chapter. What comes next could shape your child’s future.
Today, thousands of students across the UK are receiving their GCSE results. Congratulations to everyone reaching this important milestone.
The next decision may be even more important than today’s results.
If you’re exploring post-16 options for your child, consider an education that goes beyond exams.
At Southbank International School, our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Career-related Programme (IBCP) develop curious, independent thinkers who are prepared for success at university and beyond.
This year, our students achieved an average of 35 points—equivalent to approximately AAB at A Level—with graduates progressing to leading universities across the UK, Europe and North America.
Join us at one of our upcoming Open Events and discover why so many families choose the IB.
