We have three campuses (Kensington, Hampstead and Westminster) located across five sites. These are all situated in some of the most desirable and inspiring areas of central London.

Our campuses

Southbank International School's campuses are strategically located in Hampstead, Kensington, and Westminster, providing students with access to vibrant neighbourhoods and cultural experiences throughout London.

Kensington (2-11 years)

Primary Years Programme


Our Kensington campus is attended by approximately 160 children aged 2 to 11, who are from almost 40 countries.

Students follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme, before transferring to our Westminster campus at age 11, where they begin to study the IB Middle Years Programme.

Our Kensington campus is located in the stunning Notting Hill area of London, between the famous Portobello Road and Kensington Park Road. The actual building consists of two adjoining Victorian villas.

HAMPSTEAD (2-11 YEARS)

Primary Years Programme

Our Hampstead campus is a purpose-built school located in one of London’s leafiest suburbs and attended by approximately 160 students.

Students follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme, before transferring to our Westminster campus at age 11, where they begin to study the IB Middle Years Programme.

Our Hampstead campus is located on Netherhall Gardens in Hampstead, which is extremely convenient for public and private transport and nearby Hampstead Heath, one of London’s largest open spaces.

Westminster campus

Middle Years and Diploma Programmes (11-18 years)

Our Westminster campus is located over three impressive sites in central London (Portland Place, Conway Street and Cleveland Street), all of which are just a five-minute walk from each other.

Students follow the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (ages 11–16) across all three sites, while our Diploma Programme students (ages 16–18) attend classes at Conway Street and Cleveland Street.

PORTLAND PLACE (11-15 YEARS)

Middle Years Programme

Portland Place is a splendid Grade II listed building that’s located on Portland Place itself. This location is very close to Oxford Street and Regent’s Park, as well as famous London attractions such as The London Palladium theatre and Madame Tussauds.

CONWAY STREET (15-18 YEARS)

Middle Years and Diploma Programmes

The campus is a striking, modernised building located very close to leafy Fitzroy Square. It’s also just a few minutes’ walk from Warren Street and Great Portland Street underground stations, and it benefits from being close to a wide range of museums and libraries.

CLEVELAND STREET (15-18 YEARS)

Middle Years and Diploma Programmes

Our newest Cleveland Street campus is a state-of-the-art learning environment that’s located very close to Great Portland Street underground station.

Opened in September 2018, the campus was created with lots of input from students and teachers about what it should feature and how it should look and feel. This includes living moss walls to bring nature indoors and calming colour schemes and artworks.
