Lunch, 1st Term 25/26 for Grade 1-4.
We are happy to continue with the hot lunch service, provided by Todmorden Foods. The lunches are cooked on the school premises; there is a main course and a dessert or fresh fruit. The cost of lunches is £6.70 per day for students in Grade 1 – Grade 5 and £6.45 per day for Early Childhood and Kindergarten students for a total of 71 days (67 days for Grade 5 as they will be away from school for 4 days).
The cost of lunches for the autumn term is as follows:
EC-Kindergarten £457.95 for 71 days
Grade 1-4 £475.70 for 71 days
Grade 5 £448.90 for 67 days (on a 4-day residential trip in September)
Please note that there are no classes (and no lessons) on Wednesday 01 October (the day of Parent-Teacher Conferences) and therefore you are not charged for this day.
Although they will not use nut products, Todmorden Foods cannot guarantee their kitchen is nut-free. On some days beef or pork will be offered, but there will be an alternative of a vegetarian dish or a baked potato with a filling.
We ask families to make a commitment to pay for the entire term. For the autumn term, our lunch programme begins on Wednesday 27 August and ends on Friday 12 December. When a class is on a field trip, the children will be provided with a sandwich lunch with fresh fruit.
The deadline for ordering lunches is Friday 22 August.
